First Division outfit Livingston look set for administration next week after West Lothian Council rejected their bid to re-negotiate the payment of a £280,000 rent bill, reports The Scotsman. Lions chairman Angelo Massone met council officials and made it clear there was little chance of the First Division club honouring the outstanding monies in full by the 30 June deadline.
Council leader Peter Johnston confirmed: "We have bent over backwards to try and help Livingston but enough is enough. If the money is not paid by 30 June then we will start legal proceedings to seek that debt.
