Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel will use elimination from the Champions League to focus his attention on winning the Premier League title. "Every player wanted to win so badly," the Slovakian international told Liverpool's official website when asked about the defeat to Chelsea.

"And it hurts that we didn't but we can turn this pain into something positive by remembering how we felt at the end of the game and trying to make sure that we do not feel this way in any other games this season.

"I still feel that we have a good chance in the Premier League because we are in good form right now and even though we lost against Chelsea we still showed our winning mentality and our desire.

"If we keep showing these same qualities then the season could still end really well for us.

"The important thing now is just to look forward because there is still a lot for us to play for this season."
