Dirk Kuyt believes there isn't a better striker on the planet than his Liverpool teammate Fernando Torres.

Kuyt said: "He's unbelievable. I've never seen anybody who is that quick and that good with the ball.

"I played with a lot of good strikers. He's one of the best in the world and maybe the very best at this moment.

"That's because he is scoring goals easily in the toughest league in Europe.

"He's on his way to the very top, if he's not there already."

Former Feyenoord star Kuyt, 27, added: "He could score 30 goals this season - he's scoring nearly every game."
