Liverpool yet to make final call on trialist Javi Cendon

Liverpool are yet to make a final decision on trialist Javi Cendon.

The Liverpool Echo says the teenager was part of the pack who trained in Austria over much of the last two weeks, learning from the guidance of the likes of Alisson Becker and Adrian at their Saalfelden-based camp.

Liverpool were alerted to the talents of the 19-year-old earlier this year and took him on trial after Cendon left Villarreal on a free transfer.

Goalkeeper coaches John Actherberg and Jack Robinson ran the rule over the Spaniard in Austria but have yet to make a decision following their return to Merseyside on Tuesday evening.

The Reds' coaching staff will continue to assess the talents of Cendon at Melwood before a decision is made on whether or not to offer the goalkeeper a permanent contract.
