Liverpool have left an important trio of players at home for Thursday night's Europa League meeting with Besiktas.
The Reds take on the Turkish side in Istanbul in the Round of 32 second leg following their 1-0 win at Anfield last week but will be without vice-captain Jordan Henderson, centre-back Mamadou Sakho and right-back Glen Johnson who have not made the trip.
Midfielder Henderson has an ankle problem, Sakho is battling a hip injury and Johnson is ill but manager Brendan Rodgers is confident the Merseysiders can get the job done on hostile territory.
"We have got a few injuries; we are probably out here without about eight of our squad that have picked up knocks - some previous and some from the weekend," Rodgers told reporters.
"But we still have a strong enough squad to hopefully complete the job. The confidence is very high in the team.
"Any changes that we make in the team, the players come in and know the collective job and are performing at a very high level.
"So we expect the same, to continue with that confidence level. We'll look to carry that confidence into the game."
