Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo tipped for Rangers move

It looks increasingly likely that Sheyi Ojo will join Rangers next season.

The Liverpool youngster will likely replace teammate Ryan Kent at Ibrox, with the Gers likely to miss out on signing the 22-year-old permanently.

Aston Villa have reportedly priced Rangers out of a move for Kent, with the Daily Record suggesting Ojo will be brought in by Steven Gerrard as his replacement.

Gavin Barry from the Record Rangers Podcast said: "Villa were linked with a £10million bid and once you start seeing those figures then Rangers are out of the running.

"It looks as if Rangers are resigned to losing him and Liverpool have said 'you're not getting him but by the way here's another guy'.

"He is a Ryan Kent type that will get bums off seats, exciting fans.

"When you talk to people down south then Ojo is one they reckons could feature in the first team down there. He would be a good one to get and certainly to soften the blow of Ryan Kent."
