Liverpool prospect Jonjo Shelvey is already thinking about following Arsenal whizkid Jack Wilshere into the senior England squad.
The former Charlton prodigy may still be waiting for his full Liverpool debut, but having recently captained England U19s, he is refusing to let his ambition be tempered.
Shelvey told Liverpoolfc.tv: "Hopefully in five years I'll be playing central midfield for Liverpool on a regular basis, playing Champions League football, being top of the Premier League and getting an England call-up. Those are my ambitions.
"Capello has given chances to young players. Jack's doing well and Kieran Gibbs has been in there too.
"I know Jack quite well and I spoke to him when he played for England and he said nothing beats that moment. Hopefully I can follow in his footsteps."
