The connection between Steven Gerrard and Liverpool is set to be once again utilised by Rangers, as they are close to bringing in Sheyi Ojo on loan for the season.
This follows on from the successful loan spell that Ryan Kent enjoyed last season at Ibrox. However, it seems uncertain whether the club will get the midfielder for another season.
Instead, the Anfield club has given left winger Ojo the green light to move to Scotland, says the Daily Record.
The 21-year-old is expected to join up with Gerrard's squad when they return for pre-season training next week.
Ojo, an England under-21 cap, has previously had loans at Fulham, Wolves, Wigan and last year he was at French side Reims.
