Liverpool winger Jordan Henderson hopes to avoid any jeers from his old Sunderland fans this weekend.
Black Cats boss Steve Bruce has invested heavily using the funds from the England midfielder to land a host of players.
Ironically, Henderson is set for an immediate reunion with his former side, with the schemer, 20, poised to make his Anfield bow against Sunderland on the opening day on Saturday.
He said of his old club: "There have been some great signings - they've got a strong squad. I've got good friends there and hopefully I won't get any stick."
