Liverpool willing to sell star to fund Aubameyang bid

Liverpool are ready to firm up their long-term interest in Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Sunday Express says the Reds are eyeing an ambitious move for Aubameyang by selling Daniel Sturridge in January.

Aubameyang worked with Jurgen Klopp with the Bundesliga giants and could be reunited at Anfield.

The Reds have been unable to give England striker Sturridge a regular run of games due to the form of Roberto Firmino and AC Milan are now interested.

Dortmund are prepared to cash in on Aubameyang in January after becoming fed-up with his off-field antics and have been in contact with agents about a potential replacement signing.

The Germans are also inviting offers starting at €50m to sell their striker next month.
