Liverpool are prepared to make a swap offer for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

Tuttosport says the Reds are willing to offer Dejan Lovren to Napoli as part of a deal for Koulibaly.

Fresh from ending their 30-year wait to win the league title, Liverpool are eager to strengthen their squad further, with the highly sought-after Koulibaly one of their main targets.

Liverpool believe that they can get Napoli to lower their £90million asking price for Koulibaly by offering them Lovren.

Lovren has made just ten Premier League appearances for Liverpool this season and has a year remaining on his contract at Anfield.
