Stan Collymore believes that Ruben Neves will be tempted by a summer move to Liverpool.

As the Reds reflect on a record setting Premier League campaign that still did not end in a league title, they are looking to strengthen their squad.

One name being mentioned is central midfielder Neves, who impressed with newly promoted Wolves this season.

The 22-year-old would add goals from central midfield and a penetrative passing ability.

Collymore spoke to Stadium Astro about potential transfer targets, saying: "If you're champions of Europe, that in itself is a huge catch.

"Players from around Europe will have seen the atmosphere this year and the type of football.

"One who will be looking is Ruben Neves."

He added: "He's been on the radar of several clubs, a playmaker.

"He doesn't score as many goals as he should but scores worldies.

"Neves is the kind of guy you'd get on the ball in the final third and he has the vision of David Silva."
