Liverpool are weighing up a bid for Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodriguez.

The Reds are in the market for a new midfielder after Gini Wijnaldum's departure and Rodriguez is on their radar.

La Razon says the 27-year-old has a release clause of €80m, but Manuel Pellegrini's side are willing to let the player leave if they receive a fee of €30m.

Real Betis will have to pay 25 percent of the fee to the Argentina international's former side, Club América. A deal worth €30m wouldn't be 'bad' for the Spanish club, considering they invested only €3m to acquire his services.

With Liverpool thinking of the South American, Real Betis could be forced to sell Rodríguez this summer.
