Liverpool are watching Benfica defender Antonio Silva.

The 18-year-old centre-back has impressed for the Portuguese giants since making his first-team breakthrough this season and is now attracting attention from top European clubs.

O Jogo says the Reds are one side who have been 'constantly following' the performances of Benfica, amid interest in other members of the squad, but add the club are not currently willing to negotiate for the teenager who is protected by a €100m release clause.

Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are mentioned as also being possibly interested in Silva.
