Liverpool are wary rushing Alisson Becker's return to full training.

They hope he will reappear this week, but await confirmation from the medical staff before the Brazil goalkeeper joins up with his team-mates, says the Liverpool Echo.

The £65million shot-stopper hasn't featured for the Reds since pulling up towards the end of the first half of the 4-1 win over Norwich on the opening weekend of the Premier League season.

A calf problem has kept Alisson sidelined since August 9, but after being placed on a specially-tailored training regime in the last international break, the former Roma star resumed action with the club's goalkeeping staff last week.
