Liverpool cannot allow plans to sign RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner to drag on, it has been revealed.
Indeed, if the Reds want to take advantage of Werner's buyout clause they will have to act before the end of the season.
BILD's Christian Falk reports Werner's buyout clause, mooted to be €55-60m, must be triggered before the end of April.
It's been revealed Liverpool made an attempt to sign Werner in January, which involved loaning him back to RBL for the remainder of the season. The Reds are still keen on the striker.
Werner, meanwhile, stated last week: "The Premier League is the most interesting league.
"It is a certain flair to watch the English league and play there."
