Hot on the heels of their Champions League success, Liverpool are already looking to strengthen their squad by bringing in another goalkeeper.
While Alisson Becker is the undoubted number one at the club, they have identified Jiri Pavlenka are a possible replacement for number two keeper Simon Mignolet; who looks set to depart the club in hope of first team football.
However, the Reds have hit a slight bump in the road for the 27-year-old keeper, with Werder Bremen's sporting director Frank Bauman stressing that the Czech is not available.
He was quoted in Weser-Kurier as saying: "We plan with Pavlenka for the new season. There is no offer from Juventus or Liverpool for Jiri Pavlenka."
