Liverpool will not consider selling Christian Benteke for less than the £32.5m he cost, according to Sky Sports.
The Reds met a release clause in Benteke's Aston Villa contract last summer, but the Belgium international striker started just eight Premier League games after Jurgen Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers as manager.
Klopp said at the weekend selling Benteke "makes sense" but warned interested clubs against trying to get the 25-year-old on the cheap.
And it is understood Liverpool want to recoup the money they paid Villa and are prepared to wait until next summer, given the player has four years to run on his deal.
