Liverpool veteran James Milner has enjoyed a joke about VAR ahead of their clash with Crystal Palace.

Milner has suggested Jurgen Klopp's squad had practised 'VAR offsides' at Melwood on Tuesday afternoon.

"Practised VAR offsides today, Hendo was off by a glove here," Milner wrote to Twitter.

The post was accompanied by a picture of himself and the Liverpool captain along with the hashtag 'not as bad as being off by an armpit'.

This obviously refers to the contentious decision to rule out Roberto Firmino's goal against Aston Villa earlier this month as the Brazilian's armpit was deemed to be playing him offside.
