Liverpool veteran James Milner has labelled Sevilla defender Joris Gnagnon a “disgrace" after his tackle on Yasser Larouci.
The Frenchman chopped the 18-year-old with a disgusting tackle in the second half of Sevilla's 2-1 win over the Reds in Boston.
Sevilla were angry that Liverpool didn't put the ball out when one of their own players was on the ground, but Milner isn't buying that as an excuse for Larouci's despicable challenge.
“You don't see many red cards in a friendly,' said Milner.
“They said we should have put (the ball) out but it is up to the referee to stop a game. If you want to foul, pull a shirt. Don't take a young lad by the knee. Seeing it again it is a disgrace."
