Liverpool veteran James Milner set a new Premier League record for Saturday's 1-1 draw with Newcastle.
With his entry as a 58th minute substitute, Milner set a new record: he is the player who now has made the most substitute appearances in the history of the Premier League.
The Liverpool midfielder replaced a teammate for the 159th time in his career in the English top flight, against the 158 of Peter Crouch.
Crouch is a former Liverpool striker.
