Liverpool U18 coach Marc Bridge-Wilkinson admits facing Leighton Baines' Everton on Saturday will be a special occasion.
However, he says it's important his players don't get carried away.
Bridge-Wilkinson said: "Well, you shouldn't need to say a lot really, should you?! It's the next game for us and it's definitely one we are all looking forward to. It's about playing the way we play, playing with focus and with belief in the way that we play the game.
"Don't play the occasion, but it is another game. I know it's against Everton, which makes it a little bit more interesting, but ultimately if we focus on ourselves and the way that we play then hopefully that will bring us success."
Lewis Koumas is set to feature, whose father was a former Everton player.
Bridge-Wilkinson also told liverpoolfc.com: "Lewis has done quite well. He's just got to keep it up. He can't rest on his laurels, and he can't think that he's made it and he's cracked it because he has still got so much more to do. It's about character, focus and making sure he is pushing himself every day to achieve what he wants to do in football."
