Liverpool will compete with sides like Fluminese of Brazil and Atletico Madrid from Spain in the new youth tournament.

"It will be our first time in the Middle East and we are looking forward to it immensely," Reds youth boss Hughie McAuley told Liverpoolfc.tv.

"It is an honour for us to be going to Abu Dhabi and it will be a fantastic experience for the boys.

"Our Academy Technical Manager Piet Hamberg worked over there for five years and we are looking forward to try and give a account of ourselves in the tournament.
