Liverpool are interested in Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala.

The former Chelsea youth teamer has emerged as one of the most talented young players in the world.

The Daily Express says Liverpool see Musiala as an alternative to Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.

The Reds are trailing Real Madrid in the battle for Bellingham and so are turning to Germany international Musiala.

Musiala has scored seven goals and produced five assists in eleven competitive games for Bayern Munich this season.
