Liverpool are tracking Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Luka Sucic.

The Salzburger Nachrichten says the 19-year-old midfielder has been tipped to follow the likes of Benjamin Sesko, Takumi Minamino and Erling Haaland as the next big star to make the step up to the elite of European football.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is reported to have been keeping a special eye on the teenage talent during the pre-season clash in Austria.

And Klopp has added Croatian international Sucic to his shortlist for next summer as he continues to re-balance an ageing midfield.

Come next summer, Jordan Henderson will be 33 and James Milner 37.
