Liverpool are ready to take a new look at Lille defender Sven Botman.

The Sunday World says Liverpool are likely to reinvestigate a move for Botman.

The 21-year-old is a stylistic fit, would not break the bank and Lille would potentially be willing to do a deal given the financial problems engulfing Ligue 1.

Netherlands youth international Botman, who has been called up to the senior Dutch squad but has yet to make an appearance, has not missed a game for Lille this term.

He has played in all 21 of their league matches and all of their six Europa League group games, starting all bar one.

It has previously been claimed is rated at around £20million to £30m having only joined for £7m last summer.
