The agent of MVV Maastricht defender Xavier Mbuyamba has warned Chelsea they won't get a clear run at the teen.

The 17-year-old has yet to sign professional terms and is training with Chelsea this week. However, he is also interesting Liverpool - with Chelsea's transfer ban handing the Reds an advantage.

Carlos Barros of Prestige Sports told Voetbal International: “He will be training with different teams in the coming days to see where he should enter in terms of level.

“That can be the Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 or Under-23. Chelsea has already indicated that he would like to put him in.

“There are several very nice options for him. We will now look at the best option and hope to have clarity soon."
