Liverpool are in talks to sign Ghanaian whizkid Issahaku Abdul Fatawu.
Kicker says a move from Steadfast FC in his homeland to Bayer Leverkusen recently failed due to the agent's actions with Liverpool involved
The 17-year-old forward has 'already been to Leverkusen' to discuss a deal with the club and met with them at Lindner Hotel Bayarena.
However, despite that, they decided not to pursue a deal. While Bayer would have liked to do a deal as he's a player who would have fit in perfectly, the club were suspicious of various things his agent was doing in the background.
An agreement was in place, but then there was an 'unexpected turn' on Wednesday when his agent cancelled the second and final meeting planned to seal the deal.
That is allegedly because the agent 'wanted to meet' representatives from Liverpool on the same day, a fact that was only discovered when said agent posted a video from his hotel room in which a conversation was heard in the background.
