Empoli midfielder Leandro Paredes is unsure about his future at parent club Roma.

Paredes has been linked with Liverpool.

“I have to focus on doing well in the remaining matches of the season. Empoli put their faith in me and I really needed that," Paredes told Sky Sport Italia.

“It has gone well so far and I hope to do even better.

“As for the future, my first objective has always been coming back to Roma, then you never know what could happen.

“I will do my best here to earn a recall to Roma."
