Liverpool are in new contract talks with Roberto Firmino.
The striker's current deal expires in June.
The Brazilian is currently in his eighth season at Anfield and has produced solid figures so far this campaign, finding the net seven times in 13 Premier League matches.
According to Sky Deutschland's Florian Plettenberg, negotiations over a new deal for the 31-year-old are making good progress.
Plettenberg Tweeted: "Update #Firmino: Been told that talks about a new contract beyond 2023 are progressing very well. But no final steps at this stage. Player can really imagine to extend. Relation with Klopp should be perfect."
