Liverpool have launched a bid for AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
Gazzetta dello Sport says the Reds have made a £58million bid for Alisson.
Real Madrid and Chelsea have both shown interest in the Brazil stopper but have fallen behind the Reds in the chase.
And a five-year deal could be agreed today.
The Reds' offer of £53m plus £5m add-ons is just short of Roma's £62m asking price, but the Serie A club could settle for less.
Alisson, 25, would earn just over £100,000 a week plus bonuses at Anfield.
Real is thought to be Alisson's preferred move but the Spanish giants have cooled their interest.
