Liverpool chiefs have a battle on their hands finding a new club for Mario Balotelli.

The Reds have put Balotelli up for sale and he has been linked with a return to Italy, with Sampdoria and Bologna keen.

However, Balotelli's agent, Mino Raiola, insists the striker won't accept taking a pay-cut on his current wages to leave Anfield.

Asked by Secolo XIX about Samp, Raiola replied: "How true is this story? Ask the president, (Massimo) Ferrero.

"If they speak about a discount, it means that you already know how this story will end. That is in no way possible."
