Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah eased the tension as fans invaded the pitch during Egypt's 2-2 draw in Angola on Friday night.
In the dying embers of the World Cup qualifier, supporters made it onto the field and headed straight toward the Liverpool forward.
Salah showed his class by hugging the first fan and, as he looked to get on with the game, another was seen heading towards the 29-year-old looking for a selfie.
Reportedly it wasn't the first time in the match that fans had attempted to show their admiration for Salah, who also assisted Egypt's other goal.
The result means that Egypt progress to the African World Cup play-offs as Group F winners.
