Liverpool could be set to reward backup striker Divock Origi with a new contract.
The Belgian is rarely the first name on the team sheet for Jurgen Klopp at the Anfield club.
However, he has a habit of producing vital moments off the bench, scoring goals to clinch wins for his side in all competitions.
The 26-year-old looks close to the form he showed in 2019-2020, after a poor 2020-2021 season.
According to Ekrem Konur, Liverpool want Origi to extend his contract, which currently expires in 2024.
Origi was linked with several clubs last summer but the Reds did not receive a suitable transfer offer.
