Liverpool striker Divock Origi has aims of winning a new deal.

He is hopeful his Champions League heroics will earn him a new deal at Liverpool.

There were suggestions he would only be offered a one-year extension but he is now set to be rewarded with a new long-term deal.

"The next few weeks we'll have to sit down and see what the future holds," Origi told Sky Sports.

"I want to speak to the club and my people internally before going public but hopefully the talks between me, the club and my people will be positive."
