Liverpool striker Mane form sees him better Messi, Ronaldo stats

Liverpool striker Sadio Mane's form this season has been further reinforced by another goalscoring statistic.

The Senegal international now has a better minutes per goal ratio than both Barcelona star Lionel Messi and Juventus'Cristiano Ronaldo in the history of the Champions League knockout stages.

Averaging a goal every 95 minutes, Mane tops the chart in terms of players with 10 goals or more after the group phase.

He just scrapes into the reckoning with 10 goals in total but his record is 12 minutes better than Ronaldo and 34 minutes ahead of Messi, reports the Daily Mail.

The Liverpool winger also usurps the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Neymar and now retired superstars such as Andriy Shevchenko and Filipo Inzaghi.
