The Reds attacker has proven to be one of the best signings of last summer as he has so far gone on to net 32 times, the highest tally of any Liverpool player since Fernando Torres struck 33 goals during the 2007-08 season.
"It doesn't surprise me that Mo has scored so many goals because of the chances he creates for himself during games," he said in a recent matchday programme.
"I don't think I've ever seen anyone so ruthless in the way he runs in behind, in how he runs at people and how often runs through people because he's so strong.
"He's got everything and it is some going to score so many, a huge achievement. He'll get more and more because he's a top, top player but then everybody here is a top, top player.
"Look at how many Bobby has scored this year. That's unbelievable as well and Sadio is the same – he's just scored a hat-trick away from home in the Champions League. Confidence is flying around the place at the moment."
