Liverpool striker Divock Origi hopes for an EFL Cup start tonight at Derby.

The Belgian striker has started just one game this season, at Burton in the previous round of the competition, scoring Liverpool's opener after 15 minutes.

"I try to use every single moment to improve and show that I can start in the line-up," he told Liverpoolfc.com.

"I am convinced I can do this but the choice is up to the manager.

"I just have to show my goodwill, I try to bring a lot of positive energy and bring something to the team when they need me."
