Liverpool stopper van den Berg pondering Burnley loan

Liverpool defender Sepp van den Berg is considering leaving the club on loan.

The 20-year-old, who has been at the club since 2019, has struggled for regular game time.

He spent the season at Preston North End last term, where he was involved in 49 games.

According to The Athletic, van den Berg is now considering joining Burnley, who are managed by Manchester City legend Vincent Kompany.

Van den Berg was an unused sub for Liverpool's 2-2 draw with Fulham in the Premier League this past weekend.

He may fancy another season on loan to show manager Jurgen Klopp his worth.
