Suso's Premier League debut for Liverpool has led to Real Madrid again reflecting on 'what could have been'.

Former Reds boss Rafa Benitez was key to Liverpool trumping Real for Suso when he was a junior player at Cadiz.

Suso recalls: "Yes, I had the whole issue of signing the contract and it was close with Real Madrid, but Rafa (Benitez) called me and gave me a lot of confidence, so I took the gamble to leave.

"I love this club, and for me this is the right place. For now, the truth is that I have never thought of leaving because I'm pretty comfortable here. I have no intention of leaving."
