Liverpool striker Dani Pacheco is proud of his summer exploits with Spain U19.

Pacheco was named player of the tournament at the European U19 Championships after his four goals helped Spain to reach the final.

He told liverpoolfc.tv: "I enjoyed it a lot. We have a very good group, a very good team and good people. We need to be proud of what we did because we went to the final and we were unlucky.

"It's a dream for every boy in Spain to play for the senior national team. It's very difficult but hopefully one day I can do it. But right now I'm thinking about the present. You need to work every day and try to meet your targets, keep going up and never stop."
