The Senegalese was speaking ahead of his side's encounter against Manchester United, which will take place on Saturday.
The confidence will be high in the Reds dressing room after they secured their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time in nine years, following their 5-0 aggregate demolition of FC Porto in the last-16 of the competition on Tuesday.
Mane heads into the game against the Red Devils having bagged five goals from his last four games, and the 25-year-old believes that his side can go on and win.
"It will not be easy but I've always said we can beat any team in the world," said Mane.
"Honestly they (Manchester United) are one of the best teams in England, of course in the world also, but we are as well.
"It's the dream for every single player to play this kind of game so everyone is looking forward to it."
