Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho says that the Reds deserved to win their Champions League tie at Shakhtar Donetsk.
Despite dominating most of the game, Jurgen Klopp's side could only manage a 1-1 draw in Ukraine on Tuesday.
"We were the better team, we had more of the ball, we created more chances and I think we deserved to win," said Coutinho, who scored his debut Champions League goal in the game.
"But they scored, we drew and it wasn't really the result we wanted, but we have to keep working and there are another four [group] games to come.
"We watched videos, the coach gave us information, they're certainly great opponents, with a lot of quality. It was a difficult game and, as I said, we created more but it wasn't a good result."
