Liverpool's American kit supplier Warrior has announced the signing of Everton star Marouane Fellaini to a long-term endorsement deal, reports SportsPro. Under the terms of the agreement, the Belgian midfielder now wears Warrior's first ever line of soccer boots called Skreamer, which he was wearing when he scored during his side's 1-1 draw with Premier League champions Manchester City last weekend.
The announcement comes during Warrior's first season serving as the official kit supplier of Everton's arch rivals Liverpool, with whom the company signed a record-breaking US$229.8 million, 6-year deal in January.
"I chose Warrior because my approach to the game and desire to win is the same as theirs," said Fellaini. "It's a brand that does things differently to the others and I really like that. We are a great fit and I'm excited about the chance to influence a new generation of young footballers alongside Warrior."
Ben Haworth, global sports marketing manager for Warrior Football, said of the brand's new signing: "For Warrior to sign one of the most exciting and talked about players in world football is an incredible coup."
