Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has admitted that he is facing a fight to earn a spot in the final 23-man England squad heading to the European Championships.
Roy Hodgson will be naming his final 23-man roster for this summer's tournament in France on Tuesday and it is anybody's guess as to which three players will be cut from the squad.
Midfielder Henderson, who is only just returning to full fitness from injury, has gone on to admit that he is a bit anxious ahead of the announcement as he believes everyone is fighting to make it into the final cut.
Henderson said: "Apart from one or two, no one is safe really.
"Everyone's fighting for a place on the plane – I am no different.
"Obviously I've been injured for a long time but I am working hard. I'm trying to get back to the level I was before I was injured.
"I'll keep doing that and if the manager wants me in the squad I'll be over the moon. If not, then I need to get ready for pre-season."
