Lucas Leiva's replacement at Gremio says Liverpool are gaining "a great player".
Eduardo Costa, who signed for Gremio last week from Espanyol, declared: "I have followed Lucas' career. He is a great player.
"We have many things in common. We both developed in Brazil before moving to Europe."
