Liverpool setback as Borussia Dortmund launch huge offer for Trabzonspor keeper Cakir

Liverpool could be set to lose out on long term target Ugurcan Cakir.

The Trabzonspor goalkeeper is one the Reds have been targeting since May 2019, when his agent mentioned the club's interest in his client.

Fotospor - via teamTALK - claims that Borussia Dortmund are keen to sign the 24-year-old, and have put up a bid of €20 million for his signature.

Liverpool want someone to deputise for Alisson Becker next term, and may want an alternative to 22-year-old Caoimhin Kelleher who is currently filling that role.

But the interest of Dortmund in Cakir means he may not be a viable option for Jurgen Klopp's team this summer.
