Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of Liverpool midfielder Jay Spearing.

Spearing has signed for Bolton player after passing his medical late on Thursday night.

Liverpool accepted a £1.4million bid for the 24-year-old, who impressed at the Reebok last season on loan.

Blackburn had also shown interest but Bolton manager Dougie Freedman was keen to finalise a move after Spearing impressed on loan last season.
