Bristol City's talented youngster Alex Scott is being linked with a surprise move to Liverpool.

The Mail states that Liverpool's head of recruitment Dave Fallows and chief scout Barry Hunter were both watching Scott recently.

They were at the England Under-20s game against Germany last month to see the 19-year-old in action.

West Ham United and Wolves are the other two teams vying for his signature.

While a move to Liverpool would appeal, Scott may find the other two clubs give him an easier path to first team football.

Signing for the Reds may mean going back out on loan for regular first team football.
