Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho says the players want Luis Suarez to stay.
The Uruguayan striker is still being linked with an off-season move to Arsenal and Real Madrid but Brazilian young gun Coutinho told Fox Sports in Australia that his Reds teammates don't want him going anywhere.
"I hope so," he said when asked if Suarez will stay. "It's always good to be around great players.
"I play around (Steven) Gerrard, I play around Lucas (Leiva). At Liverpool there are a lot of big players and I hope that he stays.
"We try to convince him to stay. We talk as a friend and as a friend we want him to stay but it's up to him."
